2. Plan your meals ahead of time
Not knowing what to make for supper not only be stressful but also time consuming. Plan your meals for the week ahead of time this allows to prepare the meal before you go to work making life simpler when you get home as you now will only have to get home finish of the meal and get the kids ready for school and finally relax.
3. Utilize the internet
Online shopping has made it so much easier and simpler to do those menial time consuming tasks like walking through the grocery store looking for the monthly supplies. While you are on a break utilize online shopping and order your groceries. Not only will this save you time, but it will save you money too.
4. Make use of a family calendar
Put a big calendar on a wall which everyone sees and put important events and tasks on this calendar. This will help you to not miss any tasks and everyone in the family can see where they can help each other out if they can help one another out.
5. Leave work at work
Unless it is really needed to take work home try to rather keep work at work. This will allow you to relax when you are at home and focus on what needs to be done at home instead of dividing your attention between work and home tasks.
6. Make you time a priority
You need to make some time for yourself so that you can regain that energy you are spending on all those people and tasks that you spend your energy on. We all need that “alone” time to just break away from your stress a bit. What is it that you can do to break away from stress.
7. Divide and conquer
Get help. If you are married split the tasks between the two of you making life easier. If you are a single parent get friends and help each other out for example start a lift club for the schools.
8. Give up on perfection
Everyone want to be a perfect parent one way or another. The closest you will ever get to being perfect will be for you to just do your best that is after all, all your children want from you.
